Welcome to SWANSEA COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS – the place where people get together in different workshops to share ideas and to learn from each other using shared resources such as workshop tools and computer equipment. In short, a place to be active and socialise.

About Us

Swansea Community Workshops is a charity that provides the opportunity for people of all backgrounds to pursue practical interests in a friendly communal environment.

Our main targets are to:

  • provide fully equipped workshops in major practical crafts.
  • reduce unemployment by providing productive skilled education.
  • use practical activity to reduce poor mental health arising from social isolation.
  • provide educational craft courses to the wider community.
  • improve community spirit by enabling members and visitors to mix and socialise in a community hub.
