Finally, you will learn the art of soldering and cementing to complete your stunning creation.
If you’re feeling a little unsure about creating your own designs, you can relax, as plenty of templates and ideas will be provided for inspiration and guidance. As you work with a variety of professional tools and materials, you will gain confidence and proficiency in the craft. It’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and apprehension at the start, but you will soon experience a wonderful sense of achievement with each step you complete.

Join your talented teacher Helen Kenna and learn how to make jewellery using silver in this Swansea workshop! You will learn about Precious Metal Clay and get loads of useful tips as you go along on using this 999 fine silver (sterling silver is 925).
Put your new knowledge into practice and make a pendant, earrings, or both if you prefer smaller jewellery items. You will shape your piece, add pattern and texture and then, using a small blowtorch, watch your creations turn into silver.
Jewellery making with silver clay is a rewarding and beautiful activity that is super fun to try. It never fails to cause a stir of excitement and wonder – you’ll be fascinated….and it’s addictive!

Join us for a creative glass workshop – Copper Foiled Poppies! During this workshop, you will learn how to cut glass around templates to create your very own poppy. If you prefer, there are other flower templates available as alternatives. Additionally, you will master the skill of wrapping copperfoil around the glass pieces and then soldering them to enhance your artwork.
If you are feeling a bit unsure or nervous, don’t worry – beginners are always welcome! Our experienced instructor will provide step-by-step guidance to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout the class.
Throughout the session, you will be working with various materials such as glass, templates, and copperfoil. The process may seem intricate at first, especially as you practise precision glass cutting, but it is truly a rewarding and enjoyable activity.
